Highlighting and celebrating the stories of inspiration, aspiration and entertainment of celebrities, Zee TV is launching a light-hearted chat show titled ‘JuzzBaatt… Sangeen Se Namkeen Tak’. The weekend primetime offering will be a 26-episode series providing the great Indian middle-class a glimpse into the rise of acclaimed celebrities.

This is the channel’s second attempt at a talk show format after Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai, which ran two seasons from 2002 and 2008. Rekindling the celebrities’ memories and engaging the audiences through their motivational tales will be actor Rajeev Khandelwal. Co-produced by Sandiip Sikcand Telefilms and SOL, JuzzBaatt…Sangeen Se Namkeen Tak will premiere on May 5 and will air every Saturday and Sunday at 7 pm on Zee TV.

JuzzBaatt… Sangeen Se Namkeen Tak is a candid chat show where celebrities reveal their personality, their closest relationships, struggles and adventures, victories and setbacks, hopes and aspirations and fears and inhibitions, which make them human and relatable to audiences. Adding an element of fun and entertainment, the celebrity guests will participate in games, showcasing a quirky aspect of their personality.

Deepak Rajadhyaksha, Deputy Business Head, Zee TV, said, “The first quarter of 2018 saw us present viewers with differentiated fiction concepts, including Aap Ke Aa Jaane Se, Kaleerein and Ishq Subhan Allah, each of which has touched upon issues that directly impact our society. And, while these shows got audiences to pause and reflect we brought them unadulterated entertainment through DID Li’l Masters. After having tasted immense success with our last foray into the genre of celebrity chat shows with Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai, we are back with a talk show with a heart JuzzBaatt…Sangeen Se Namkeen Tak that gives viewers inspiring accounts of how some of their most favourite celebrities discovered themselves. In candid conversations with our host Rajeev Khandelwal, stars from various walks of life will reveal the most defining moments, the most amusing anecdotes and the people who’ve made the biggest difference to their journey of emerging as extraordinary achievers. We are excited to partner with Sandiip Sikcand Telefilms and SOL for this unique show and hope this association will pave the way for many more such exciting propositions in the future.”

Fazila Allana, Co-Producer, SOL Production, said, “Our show gets to the heart of what these idols are as human beings – what they’re like at home, what do they do for fun, their quirks, their dreams and their phobias. We believe that the show will resonate well with Zee TV’s core target audience, the great Indian middle-class, as it captures the stories and struggles of celebrities they idolise. Through oodles of fun and entertainment, along with some tales of joy and sorrow, JuzzBaatt will unleash fascinating facts about celebrities and what inspired them to pursue their passion. The key to a good chat show is always the host, because it’s his ability to create a comfort level that drives conversations, and Khandelwal is the perfect fit; his flexible and effervescent personality can effortlessly engage with celebrities and audiences. We look forward to this partnership with Zee TV, a channel we’ve done some great work with and hope to continue building a mutually beneficial and fulfilling long-term association with it.”

JuzzBaatt…Sangeen Se Namkeen Tak will feature celebrities from across fields like television, films, sports and more, including Rohit and Ronit Roy, Divyanka Tripathi, Vivek Dahiya, Sudeep Sahir, Dheeraj Dhoopar and others.
