The launch date of Indian Readership Survey (IRS) 2017 is January 18, 2018, the Readership Studies Council of India (RSCI), a media research users’ council, has confirmed. So the verdict will be out on how various newspapers and magazines are doing.
Confirming the launch date, Ashish Bhasin, Chairman, MRUC and Chairman and CEO, South Asia, Dentsu Aegis Networks, said, “IRS has played a vital role in shaping media research in India for the past two decades. And I’m confident that the 2017 report will further enhance its role and credibility of being an industry study. I would like to thank all the MRUC and RSCI members for their contributions in making the study robust.”
The IRS 2017 Report records the highest ever sample size of over three lakh individuals across the length and breadth of India. Apart from being the Currency for Print planning, it is the most authentic and widely used source of media and consumer insight for advertisers, publishers, agencies, and broadcasters.
