Zee TV’s viewership shoots up on the back of grand finale of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs that garnered 9.8 mn Impressions in combined markets

In Week 44 of 2017 (October 28-November 3), Zee TV took the No. 1 position in U+R and Urban markets on the back of grand finale of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs that garnered 9.8 mn Impressions in combined markets.

Zee Anmol retained its rural leadership but slipped to No. 3 position in U+R markets.

Star Plus rose one position each in both U+R and Urban markets as Sony Entertainment Television lost significant viewership towards the end of Kaun Banega Crorepati.

Top channels in U+R markets

As per select BARC India data for Week 44 of 2017 (October 28-November 3), for HSM (U+R): NCCS All: 2+ Individuals, Zee TV rose two positions up to grab No. 1 spot. The channel garnered 741.062 million (last week 651.461 million) Impressions. Star Bharat retained No. 2 position with 698.635 million (last week 658.655 million) Impressions. Zee Anmol slipped to No. 3 position with 676.733 million (last week 680.454 million) Impressions.  Sony Pal stayed at No. 4 with 593.863 million (last week 590.647 million) Impressions. Colors was also stable at No. 5 with 582.344 million (last week 585.745 million) Impressions. Star Plus rose one position to No. 6 with improved viewership of 517.871 million (last week 478.712 million) Impressions. Sony Entertainment Television slipped to No. 7 position with gross viewership of 462.257 million (last week 486.356 million) Impressions. Sony SAB climbed one position to No. 8 with 379.771 million (last week 404.768 million) Impressions. STAR Utsav at No. 9 this week garnered 373.404 million (last week 340.404 million) Impressions. Rishtey slipped two positions to No. 10 with 370.051 million (last week 428.369 million) Impressions.
