Sona Papers' 'Breakfast Meet' aims to groom upcoming designers

Sona Papers, a paper company, has come up with a design workout initiative, Breakfast Meet, where upcoming designers will get an opportunity to spend time with leading artists in the field of designing and creativity.

Through this step, the brand has tried its best to go above the business of selling papers. The main aim behind this is to encourage creativity among upcoming talents by providing them inspiration.

"In this initiative, we invite our current industry leaders so they can inspire and guide the leaders of tomorrow, over a cup of storming tea. The topics of these meet-and-greets range from Typography, Modern Art, Advertising Design, Women in Design to the struggles the artist has had to face in the field of design. Sometimes, it's all about art; sometimes it's a bit more personal about the designer's experiences in the field. This is a never-before-seen initiative that gives a platform to young talent to interact with some of the biggest names in art and design," said Sona’s Spokesperson.

The debut session was mentored by Mumbai-based Calligraphy and Font veteran, Sarang Kulkarni.
