Makani Creatives has won the creative account of Panasonic Smartphones, following a multi-agency pitch.Â
Sarthak Seth, Head, Brand and Marketing Communications, Panasonic India, said, âWe were on the lookout for a partner who understands youth insight and the role that a smartphone plays in their lives, notwithstanding the values of an iconic brand like ours. Itâs on this very basis and qualities that Makani Creatives has bagged our pitch. Under the initial creative duties, the agency has helped conceptualise and execute the launch of our latest series of smartphones â Panasonic ELUGA A3 and A3 Pro.â
Panasonic India entered Indiaâs smartphone market in 2013. Since then, drawing on the strengths cultivated over the years through its home appliances business, Panasonic has introduced a wide range of products that offer superior usability. Panasonic India also recently developed the new software âArboâ, a software for android phones that brings to life simple smartphone operation utilising AI and a new user interface.
Sameer Makani, MD, Makani Creatives, said, âWe are super excited and thankful to Panasonic for this opportunity! This will be our agencyâs foray into the telecom space and that too with a brand as magnanimous as Panasonic, a brand that we have all grown up to. In todayâs cluttered market, Panasonic is on its way to creating its own unique identity and we are glad to be a part of this journey.â
Panasonic Smartphones is the latest variety and addition to Makani Creativesâ pool of clients, which includes the likes of Metro Shoes, Mahindra Logistics, Epic Channel, Siyarams Group, Red Tape, Killer Jeans, Lavie, Nilkamal Furniture, @home and Tata Motors, to name a few. An atypical advertising agency based in Mumbai, Makani Creatives has a team strength of over 100 creative individuals.
