Parle takes a humorous route for its ‘Naam toh yaad rahega’ campaign

Conceptualised by Taproot Dentsu, the three ad films educate consumers about the different range of offerings by the brand

Parle Products has rolled out its latest campaign, ‘Naam toh yaad rahega’, to promote its different range of product offerings. Through this campaign, the brand aims to reach out to the consumers in a humorous way. Taking the innovative approach, Parle aims to educate consumers regarding the rebranded products in the biscuit category.

The campaign has been conceptualised by Taproot Dentsu with three different TVCs. The first video talks about Mazelo, Londonderry and Cafechino while the second video talks about heritage brands like Mango Bite, Kaccha Mango Bite and Melody. The third video shows how re-branding is done on biscuits like Bourbon, Jam-in and Milk Sandwich biscuits under the Fab umbrella.

Speaking about the campaign, Krishna Rao, Category Head, Parle Products, said, “Parle originally started as a confectionery manufacturer and today we have grown into one of India’s most loved companies with over 50 brands across our portfolio. The new campaign is simple and relatable in its idea and combines humour endearingly to bind multiple cluster challenges that we have faced through our journey, under one roof. This campaign is an organic step forward from the recent ‘Naam toh suna hi hoga’ campaign that we launched earlier this year.”

Given this scenario, we've created some new commercials in the same light-hearted vein as the previous campaign. The delivery is fun, the messages serious business covering everything from rebranding to taking on duplicates to driving recall."
