Zee TV's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs introduces video voting in Google Search

Having premiered on February 25, Zee TV’s singing reality show for kids, ‘Amul Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs co-powered by Airtel 4G and special partner Tata Signa’, has emerged as the No. 1 non-fiction show across Hindi GECs on weekend primetime. Zee TV has worked with Google to introduce a first-of-its-kind video voting innovation in Asia. Users will be able to see an audio-visual (AV) clip as a quick preview of the contestants’ performance on Google and vote. Apart from the usual SMS voting, viewers have to search ‘lil champs vote’ on Google and the first search result will reveal all top 10 contestants, and direct the user to cast their vote.

Zee TV Deputy Business Head Deepak Rajadhyaksha, said, “The latest season has broken all records and is the No. 1 non-fiction show across Hindi GECs on weekend primetime. We are delighted to work with Google to announce a pioneering voting mechanism that is a first in Asia. Video Voting lets viewers preview video clips of the contestants before casting their vote. We look forward to breaking records of viewer participation through this user-friendly method of voting.”
