Enjoy 'Friday Hollywood Nights' on &pictures

On November 11 at 8:30pm, the festival flags off with '300' premiering on &pictures in Hindi. Starring veteran actor Gerard Butler, the movie owes its name to the 300 Spartans who are headed by King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) in a battle against Persian King and his army of more than 300,000 soldiers. One of the most iconic onscreen characters ever, Gerard Butler spent around four hours every day for four months working out to get in shape for the King's role. Over 600 costumes were curated for the film, including 17 helmets for Gerard Butler only. A perfect blend of drama and action, 300 met with critical acclaim across the globe. The film boasts of remarkable performances, action and outstanding visual effects.

Next in line is 'Monkey King 2' on November 18. A young Buddhist monk Tang Sanzang is sent on a journey to India to collect Buddha's scriptures. All goes well till the monk is stranded in a wasteland and must plot his escape. The Samuel L Jackson starrer 'Snakes on a Plane' will air on November 25. The film is about a murderer who plans to kill the witness of the crime. The witness is protected and persuaded by the FBI agent to testify in Los Angeles. On way, they discover hundreds of different species of snakes on their plane. How they survive is what forms the crux of the film.
