Vh1 revamps line-up for October

The channel will also launch the second leg of its college programme, 'Vh1 Represent'

VH1, the English music channel from the Viacom 18 stable, has planned a launch of new string of shows, including A To Z of EMA's, Vh1 Fate, 2016 Europe Music Awards Nominees Special, Vh1 Drawn to Life and Vh1 One in a Billion.

These shows will run in addition to the current on air properties -- The X Factor UK, Rock Legends, Vh1 Trending, Vh1 Playlist, Vh1 Hip Hop Hustle and many more.

Besides the on-air plan, Vh1 is now priming to go into the second phase of its college programme, Vh1 Represent. The programme garnered good response in its first phase and the channel now plans to make it even bigger and better. Vh1 Represent will now reach 200 colleges across 25 cities in India with numerous on-ground initiatives, partnerships with college festivals and 400 youth ambassadors that represent the brand within colleges. In this phase, expansion to tier two markets is the main focus to help the brand reach out to youth pan India in a fun and engaging manner.

A to Z of EMAs will telecast on Sunday, October 9 at 1pm, Vh1 Fate on Sunday, October 16, at 12pm and 7pm, 2016 Europe Music Awards Nominees Special on Wednesday, October 26 at 7pm, Vh1 Drawn to Life- International Animation Day Special will be telecast on Friday, October 28 at 12pm and 8pm and as a Diwali Special - Vh1 One in a Billion will appear on the channel on Monday, October 31, at 12pm and 8pm.
