McCann India and Kenscio Digital Marketing grabbed a gold each while OgilvyOne Worldwide Mumbai won a bronze and a silver

India got four metals at the 2016 International Echo Awards held by the Direct Marketing Association -- one by McCann India, two by OgilvyOne Worldwide Mumbai and one by Kenscio Digital Marketing Pvt Ltd.
DMA awarded a total of 64 medals for the 2016 International Echo Awards, recognising the world’s most innovative, creative and effective marketing campaigns.
McCann India won a gold in the ‘Travel and Hospitality/Transportation’ category for its work titled Lufthansa Runway for Success for Lufthansa German Airlines.
Kenscio Digital Marketing Pvt Ltd, a Bengaluru-based digital marketing company, has grabbed a gold in the category ‘Best Use of Email Marketing’ for Axis Securities Limited for its campaign Real-Time Personalisation of Emails.
OgilvyOne Worldwide Mumbai was able to get a bronze in the ‘Insurance and Financial products and Services’ category for its work titled #DarkTravelTale for Reliance General Insurance. The agency also got a silver in the ‘Best Use of Social Media’ category for the same campaign.
The 64 campaigns selected as medallists – judged across 21 different categories – were awarded gold, silver and bronze medals, while each category had two runner-up campaigns. The awards honour excellence in creativity, marketing strategy, and response results in data-driven marketing campaigns. The runner-up campaigns received framed certificates.
While OgilvyOne landed 14 awards in total, more than any other agency, including four Gold Echos, McCann won a total of two while another gold was won by McCann Stockholm.

The 2016 Echo Awards Gala launched the first night of &THEN event, DMA’s live conference in Los Angeles, which took place from October 16 to 18 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The Gala featured a Hollywood-style red carpet pre-party and was hosted by Sugar Ray frontman Mark McGrath.
