aaj-tak-logoAaj Tak has announced the launch of Sahitya Aaj Tak. The two-day literature festival intends to bring together the biggest names in Indian literature, including scholars, poets, writers, musicians, actors, authors and artists.

The expected speakers at the event include Javed Akhtar, Anupam Kher, Kumar Vishwas, Prasoon Joshi, Piyush Pandey, Anurag Kashyap, Chetan Bhagat, Kapil Sibal, Najeeb Jung, Hans Raj Hans, Manoj Tiwari, Anuja Chauhan, Ravinder Singh, Chitra Mudgal, Ashok Vajpeyi, Kedar Nath Singh, Uday Prakash, Malini Awasthi, Darain Shahidi, Uday Mahurkar, Hariom Panwar, Ashok Chakradhar, Popular Meeruthi, Govind Vyas, Rahat Indori, Nawaz Deobandi, Rajesh Reddy, Swanand Kirkire, Nasira Sharma, Maiteyi Pushpa, Shazi Zaman and Dev Dutt Patnaik among others.

The festival is scheduled for November 12 and 13 at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, New Delhi. The entry for the event is complimentary on registrations.

The festival will not just showcase cultural shows and theatre but also promises to give budding writers a vibrant audience to narrate their scripts. The channel is running a contest where interesting pieces can win up to Rs 1 lakh as special recognition.
