Samir Ahluwalia calls it a day at Zee Media

Ahluwalia, who was re-designated as Editor of Zee Business in May this year, has been with Zee for 19 years

Samir Ahluwalia, Editor, Zee Business, has called it a day after 19 years of association with Zee News. Highly placed industry sources informed that Ahluwalia put in his papers today.

It is also gathered that Ahluwalia is likely to get into an entrepreneurial role hereafter. Despite best efforts, Ahluwalia could not be contacted.

Ahluwalia was re-designated as Editor for Zee Business in May this year after serving as CEO – Content, Zee Media Corporation, for two years when he headed all the 10 news channels under the Zee Media banner as well as DNA and online products.

Ahluwalia began his career with The Times of India, Delhi in 1994. After three years, he left for Zee News and remained there all along.

It may be noted that another top hand in the Zee News network, Zee Media Executive Director and CEO RK Arora, resigned recently.
