Epic, the television channel with programming on Indian history and mythology, has roped in Aditya Pittie as its Director. Pittie of the Pittie Group will lead the day-to-day operations of the linear television channel, focusing on the commercial functions of revenues and costs. He has been entrusted with the responsibility for taking Epic to the next level with stronger monetisation and alliances with advertisers and MSOs.
As the CEO of the Pittie Group, Aditya has extensive entrepreneurial experience. He also has experience in real estate, media and FMCG. He successfully turned around Sanskar TV in the past and recently launched a bouquet of channels under the 'Shubh' brand.

Samat will continue to be on the board of the company and will focus on the strategic and business development areas with focus on digital and non-linear opportunities.
