Ad Club gets maximum entries for Emvies in 16 years

The-Advertising-ClubThe Advertising Club received a record number of entries for the Emvies, which honours the best work in media, this year. A total of 971 entries were received -- the highest ever in the 16-year history of the event.

These entries were judged by about 133 top media professionals across 35 categories on July 27 and 28 in Mumbai and August 2 in Delhi this year.

Based on the aggregate scores assigned by the judges, the Emvies committee at the Ad Club shortlisted 177 case studies to be presented from August 22 to August 26 in Mumbai. The presentation will take place at Manik Sabhagriha Auditorium opposite Lilavati Hospital, Bandra Reclamation, from 2 pm to 6 pm.

The case study presentation is a final round of judging and the jury comprises big names from the marketing fraternity. The audience will also get an opportunity to exercise one vote everyday if they are present before 2 pm.

The five-day case study presentation will be webcast live on the ad club website, www.theadvertisingclub.net. The web cast partner is 24Frames Digital.

The Emvies trophies will be presented at the awards gala night on September 2 at St. Regis Hotel in Mumbai, 6.30 pm onwards. The event is powered by Colors and supported by Google. The entry to the five-day judging function is free.
