Cannes Lions 2016: BBDO wins only Bronze Entertainment Lion for India

Of the two shortlisted Indian campaigns in this category, BBDO India won a Bronze Entertainment Lion for its campaign Dads #ShareTheLoad for Procter & Gamble. Dads #ShareTheLoad campaign by BBDO India won the medal in the ‘Online: Fiction 15 minutes or under in Length’ sub-category.

BBDO India had won a Bronze Cyber, Bronze Creative Effectiveness and a Glass Lion for its #ShareTheLoad campaign. The campaign is also up for the awards in Film, Film Craft and Integrated categories to be held today.

The campaign which has two parts to it, one is #ShareTheLoad and the other is Dads #ShareTheLoad has been applauded for the change it is trying to bring in the Indian society. The campaign aims at making the male counterpart equally responsible to the female counter part when it comes to household chores. Indeed a fabulous message in the most effective manner.

There were no shortlists from India in the Entertainment Lions for Music category.
