History TV18 strives to break out of the clutter with its new factual entertainment show in Hindi, 'OMG! Yeh Mera India'.  The half-hour programme every Thursday, will take audiences across the length and breadth of India, showcasing 'OMG' facts about its people and places. The weekly half-hour episodes will be hosted by actor and stand-up comedian Krushna Abhishek.

The show takes viewers across the country, from the world's biggest family in Mizoram, to a 'visa' temple in Andhra Pradesh, or a soldier who performs difficult yoga-postures on a moving motorcycle. Every week Krushna Abhishek takes viewers on an unforgettable journey into a little known part of India, to provoke that hyper exclamation – OMG (Oh My God)!

History TV18 plans to create an engaging digital initiative to drive user-generated content on its social media ecosystem. The show will invite participation from viewers to share OMG stories from their neighbourhood. The shortlisted stories will be featured in the final episode. The core idea behind the initiative is to increase engagement and conversations among its social media community.

The channel has a tradition of featuring clutter breaking India-based content. Its first production 'Greatest Indian', a vote-based initiative, created enormous buzz, drawing a record breaking two crore responses across India. History TV18's second and third local productions 'Bollywood@100' and 'Vital Stats of India' won rave reviews from audiences and critics alike.
