In a recent development in the digital space, Happy Finish, a global creative production studio, elevated Ashish Limaye from COO India to CEO APAC. Limaye takes charge with immediate effect.
In his new role, he will continue to report to Stuart Waplington who is the Global CEO at Happy Finish. Limaye confirmed the news to BestMediaInfo.com
Speaking about his new role, Limaye said, “The responsibility is primarily around the Asian market. If we were operating as two different units, we were actually limiting ourselves as we were not fully able to capture markets like Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, etc. Needless to say, there was a need for consolidation when it comes to cumulative resources between China and India. Both markets are unique. India is an emerging market and we've grown significantly in the last three and a half years; so has China. But there is a lot of common pool of talent for which we need to ensure cross exposure. My role primarily changes from consolidating to making best use of existing resources, and channel those resources to give best quality post production across Asia.”
Limaye has vast experience in media, advertising, data and creative capabilities. In a career spanning more than two decades, he has worked across organisations such as Lintas Media Group, Classic Retail Solutions, Starcom MediaVest, Dun & Bradstreet and The Times of India.
