IAA Olive Crown Awards 2016 entry call

IAA has announced the call for entries for the 6^th edition of its Olive Crown Awards for the Indian advertising, marketing and media community to be held in February 2016. The final date for submission of entries is Friday, January 15, 2016.

Over the years the IAA Olive Crown Awards have grown in stature and are unique in their proposition of celebrating excellence in creativity that encourages sustainability and a consciousness for the environment.

The IAA Olive Crown Awards had a humble beginning in 2011 to recognise the importance of sustainability. The need for these awards has never been felt more in the back drop of the UN Climate Change Summit in Paris last week, which saw over 150 nations confer to arrive at a common agenda for Planet Earth. It has been heartening to note that India played an important role at this Summit, and the advertising and marketing community has a huge responsibility to bring about more awareness about climate change to the 1.25 billion Indians whose lives are impacted on a daily basis through products and services promote by them.
