Zopper, the hyperlocal marketplace, has rolled out its first ever TVC to establish itself as the go-to platform for electronics and home appliances needs. The

Zopper TVC highlights the integral role that the trust factor associated with local stores plays in driving consumer purchase patterns, especially while buying valuable electronic products, which have 3-5 years' ownership. Reinforcing the overall message of the campaign is its tagline – “Zopperlocal store ko aap tak laaye!

Launched as two 40-second edits, the TVC campaign presents the benefits of using Zopper to the consumer, through a retailer's perspective. The retailers in the two ads elucidate how using the Zopper App for buying electronics offers consumers a 'face', in their vicinity and established trust. The TVC also goes on to highlight other benefits of using the Zopper app such as 100% genuine electronics, best prices, free express delivery, 10-day replacement policy and Zopper assurance, its comprehensive extended warranty.

Commenting on the TVC , Harneet Singh Rajpal, CBO, Zopper, said, “By marrying the convenience of online shopping and trust of offline channels, we at Zopper have steadily established ourselves as the most renowned and trusted name in the emerging Indian hyper local segment. With the launch of this TVC, we are aiming to further raise awareness about our brand's value-driven proposition as well as our commercial model that takes business back to offline retailers who provide a physical presence that consumers in their vicinities can trust and relate to. With this first brand campaign, we want to establish how Zopper's Hyper-local e-commerce business model is better and different then the established e-commerce marketplace models.”

With the launch of the advertisements, Zopper has underlined how hyper-local market segment integrates the best of online and offline channels of purchase. By focusing on the ease and convenience of using its services, Zopper's TVC urges users to download its app to meet their electronics requirements. The App is available on both Android and iOS platforms.

Zopper is a one-of-its-kind app which connects the local retailer to the customer, helping in the discovery and ownership of consumer durables. The objective was to strongly establish the differentiation that Zopper offers - of being hyper local while bringing the best of both the online and offline worlds. With that as the starting point, the debut campaign was conceptualized for the brand by Lowe Lintas Delhi.

Shayondeep Pal, ECD, Lowe Lintas Delhi, added, “Our world today is bombarded with communication from e-commerce players. We thought by being hyper local Zopper offered a great opportunity to put forth a counter point. The campaign idea was to bring the local store guy to the forefront and make him the face and voice for Zopper, done in a 'mockumentary' style.”
