The delayed TV ratings for Week 44 of BARC ratings due to Diwali holidays, were released today. According to the select data shared by BARC India for Week 44 for Hindi general entertainment channels (October 31 to November 6) {HSM : NCCS All : Individuals : BARC India base – All India (U+R)}, Zee TV is now sitting at No. 3 position with Colors. While DD National did not find a place in top-10 club in the fourth week of inclusion of rural data, the new entrant is Sony Pal at No. 10.

Star Plus has retained its leadership position with a gross viewership of 788 TVM (last week 786 TVM).

Zee Anmol, the FTA channel from Zee stable, too added a few more eyeballs this week and strengthened its position with a gross viewership of 730 TVM (last week 722 TVM).

Both Zee TV and Colors added maximum viewership this week and jointly held No. 3 position with a gross viewership of 695 TVM. Last week, Zee TV had a gross viewership of 647 TVM while Colors was at 652 TVM.

Life OK too added 25 TVM to strengthen its position at No. 5. The channel recorded a gross viewership of 534 TVM (last week 509 TVM).

Star Utsav retained its position at No. 6 with a gross viewership of 511 TVM (last week 497 TVM).

Owing to the losses by DD National that dropped out of top-10 club and SAB TV, Sony Entertainment Television jumped to No. 7. The channel recorded a gross viewership of 342 TVM (last week 333 TVM).

SAB TV lost 38 TVM and slipped to eighth position with a gross viewership of 336 TVM (last week 374 TVM).

Rishtey rose to No. 9 despite losing maximum viewership after DD National. The channel garnered a gross viewership of 264 TVM (last week 314 TVM).

Sony Pal was a new entrant to the top-10 club this week with a gross viewership of 253 TVM.

Top 5 programmes on Hindi GECs

As per select data (HSM : NCCS All : Prime Time (1800 – 2330 hrs) : Individuals : BARC India base – All India (U+R), Star Plus' 'Saath Nibhaana Saathiya' replaced 'Kumkum Bhagya' on Zee TV from the top position. The show garnered 15.9 TVM (last week 14.8 TVM).

'Kumkum Bhagya' slipped to No. 2 position with a viewership of 14.9 TVM (last week 16.9 TVM).

Star Plus' show 'Ye Hai Mohabattein' rose to third place with a viewership of 14.7 TVM (last week 13.4 TVM).

Zee Anmol's show 'Ek Se Bhale Do' slipped one position to No. 4 with an average viewership of 12.9 TVM (last week 13.6 TVM).

Colors' show 'Sasural Simar Ka' was among top-5 shows with an average viewership of 12.4 TVM in Week 44 (last week 11.9 TVM).
