Hindi GEC Zindagi is all set to air Pakistani drama, 'Jackson Heights', from September 1, 2015. The show will air Monday to Saturday at the 8.30 pm slot. 'Jackson Heights' replaces 'Pyaare Afzal'.

The show is about the journey of Jamshed (Adeel Hussain), Salma (Aamina Sheikh), Michelle (Manira Khan) and Imran Bhatti (Noumaan Ejaz), who live in Jackson Heights, New York. It captures their struggles to make their lives better and achieve their dreams, not just for themselves but also for their families back home.

The light-hearted drama is directed by Mehreen Jabbar (of 'Daam', 'Meri Jaan Hai Tu' and 'Rehai' fame) and written by Vasay Chaudhary (who had penned the series, 'Baraat').

As reported earlier, Zindagi is gearing up to launch a slew of new shows in the coming months. The channel recently launched its first non-fiction show, 'Shukriya', and a fiction show, 'Shehr-e-Zaat'.
