Week 26 of BARC ratings for English news channels witnessed Times Now leading the pack with a huge margin over the next channel. CNN-IBN took No. 2 spot, while India Today Television stood third.

According to select data made available by BARC for Week 26 (June 27 – July 3) for All India, NCCS AB, Males 22+, C&S 1L+ Individuals, Times Now recorded a gross rating of 502 TVTs, leaving 178 TVTs for CNN-IBN and India Today Television.

Among Hindi news channels, Aaj Tak maintained leadership but with a narrow margin over India TV. Aaj Tak and India TV both had 28 million gross ratings. ABP News was at No. 3 with a gross rating of 27 million (TG: HSM : NCCS All : Week 26 : Individuals : C&S 1Lac+).

CNBC-TV18 continued to lead the English business news genre, closely followed by ET Now. Bloomberg TV India witnessed significant growth in its viewership as the channel took third place. CNBC-TV18 had recorded 213 TVTs, while ET Now garnered 196 TVTs. Bloomberg TV India grew to 57 TVTs this week (TG: All India : NCCS AB : Males 22+ : Week 26 : Individuals : C&S 1Lac+).

Among Hindi business news channels, CNBC Awaaz was the leader with 412 TVTs, with Zee Business coming in at a distant No. 2 with 198 TVTs.
