In a major ramp up at its top management, Rediffusion Y&R has appointed Suparna Mucadum as Vice-President to head its Kolkata operations. She will be reporting to Dhunji S Wadia, President, Rediffusion Y&R and add to the company’s leadership team.
News of her appointment comes close on the heels of the announcement of Rahul Jauhari’s appointment as Chief Creative Officer, Rediffusion Y&R Group, India and Komal Bedi Sohal’s relocation to Y&R Singapore as Chief Creative Officer.[caption id="attachment_50436" align="alignleft" width="200"] Dhunji S Wadia[/caption]
Commenting on Mucadum’s appointment, Wadia said, “Suparna has a proven reputation as a leader and is enormously regarded by her clients and the industry. I am very excited that she will now lead Rediffusion Kolkata and its presence in the East. I am certain that with her brand of entrepreneurial leadership, our operation will scale new heights.”
Mucadum has over two decades of industry experience during which she has worked at JWT, Trikaya, Rediffusion Y&R, AMSI Radio, Polar Fans and led operations at Genesis Advertising and Grey Group. She has worked on several brands across categories, including The Times Of India, Goodricke Tea, Tata Steel, Spencer’s, Reliance Telecommunication, Shaw Wallace, West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation, National Insurance Company, Taj Bengal, Tata Tea, Dunlop, Rupa Innerwear, Metro Cash & Carry, BOC, ONGC, Zee Bangla, and Unicef.
On joining Rediffusion Y&R, Mucadum said, “I am thrilled to step into this role. I love the energy at Rediffusion and I look forward to working with Dhunji and team. It is an incredibly exciting time to lead the agency.”
