AMES-2015The shortlist for the Asian Marketing Effectiveness & Strategy (AMES) Awards has been revealed. A 108-strong jury panel of senior agency heads and leading client marketers has selected 289 finalists from over 1,100 entries.

India has had a good run at the Awards this year, with 63 entries making it to the finalists' list. Of these, there are 30 finalists (from 116) in Effectiveness, 19 (from 73) in Media Strategy, six (from 65) in Digital Strategy, five (from 25) in Data & Analytics, and three (from 10) in E-commerce award categories.

Among Indian agencies, Lowe Lintas + Partners dominated the list with 17 shortlisted entries, followed by Mindshare with 11 nominations. PHD is placed third with seven shortlisted entries.

Commenting on the quality of entries, Elaine Rodrigo, Global Director, Consumer Insights & Strategy of Mondel?z International and Jury President for Data & Analytics and the inaugural E-commerce awards, said, “The entries this year show a wider range of analytical approaches across more industries, and a broader geographic scope. It's great to see the growing interest in this field, as it is becoming increasingly critical for companies to have the right information, real-time, so as to make fact-based decisions in a challenging business environment.”

The 2015 winners will be announced at the AMES Awards ceremony, which will take place in conjunction with the AMES Conference at Grand Hyatt Singapore on June 3, 2015.
