Speaking about the launch, Gaurav Seth, Senior Vice-President & Marketing Head, Sony Entertainment Television, said, “At Sony, we have always believed in narrating powerful stories through relatable characters that leave a strong impact on the viewers. 'Dil ki Baatein' is one such impactful series of unflinching love and emotion from the ?master storyteller, Mahesh Bhatt. The show not only questions the extreme intensity of love, but also brings to the fore some fundamental issues faced by families today. We are also very excited to welcome back the star of Indian television, Ram Kapoor, with whom we have created history before.”

Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt added here, “I am glad to associate with Sony Entertainment Television, as it is known for presenting unconventional and thought provoking stories. Since the concept of 'Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane' is one which is close to my heart, the channel seemed like the right platform. In fact, the show is more autobiographical than any project I have presented in the past.”
