Bangalore-headquartered Happy Creative Services has expanded its digital cell by bringing on board digital marketing professionals with clear and specific roles. Run by a core team comprising Akshaye Madhok as Digital Director, Sanaa Abdussamad as Creative Lead, Anoop Menon as Digital Strategist, Sumana Samuk as Group Account Director, and Madhu Sudan as Digital Producer, this division will help in connecting brands with their relevant audiences in the digital medium.

Fully equipped with an 18-member team consisting of digital marketing experts across strategy, creative, content, technology, data, design and development, they will offer data driven insights to create purposeful digital content and experiences that can spark genuine conversations.

Though the new division is only just being launched officially, Happy has been involved with producing quality content in this domain for over eight years. "We have always been a medium agnostic agency providing content for brands across requirements. The move to invest in a fully native digital setup is more from an internal capability point of view. In the world of digital ideas having the ability to experiment internally just makes the process and output a lot better. Also, it helps marketers to identify with us when we have a full-fledged unit. It's also a move to transform the entire agency into a digital ecosystem. We love creating brands and have successfully done so in the last seven years. Akshaye Madhok, one of the co-founders of Geek, brings with him over a decade of experience in technology development. His expertise lies in the digital domain, social media, digital publishing, gamification design, and technology consulting.

Sanaa Abdussamad, a core member of Happy since its formation, understands the Happy DNA, and brings her flair and personal interest for digital storytelling, and the knowledge garnered from being a key member in a technology startup.

Anoop Menon comes from Creativeland Asia and has also worked with Maxus. He brings over six years of experience developing strategy for brands like Frooti, Hippo, Titan, Audi, CCD, and Godrej.

Sumana Samuk is a digital and social media professional from Ogilvy with over eight years' experience across social media marketing, digital strategy, influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, account management and business development. She has been responsible for developing blueprints for success on all things related to social media for her clients across industries like aviation, hospitality, technology, healthcare and mobile.

Madhu Sudan has over 10 years of experience having handled more than 100 innovative digital and social campaigns for Indian and international brands. He brings in the technology knowhow required to integrate ideas with the medium.

From providing content across multiple platforms for brands like Flipkart, to creating independent digital projects like The 'Weightless' Project, with the formation of this digital cell Happy is a fully equipped, one-stop idea shop that can handle a brand's end-to-end communication needs from brand creation to brand distribution across touch-points.
