The web films, created by Propoganda India, feature Indian authors Ashwin Sanghi and Amish Tripathi sharing their reading habits using a Kindle
Jagadeesh Krishnamurthy | Mumbai | February 6, 2015
As part of Amazon India's marketing efforts to promote the Kindle Paperwhite, Bangalore-based digital agency Propoganda India has released new web films featuring two of India's celebrated authors – Ashwin Sanghi and Amish Tripathi.
Each film captures the respective author sharing his experiences of using the Amazon Kindle and describing the various features which he finds useful for his daily reading.
Noting that the scripts of the film were developed by the agency following conversations with the respective authors and their reading habits using the devices, Priya Jayaraman, Business and Client Partner, Propoganda India said that they wanted to capture the authors in their daily setting.
“Our objective was to get perspectives from people who love reading and are users of the product. So, who better than the authors themselves to share their experiences?” she asked.
The films are being promoted as part of the ongoing digital campaign, '#crazyforreading', for the brand.
