Big_FMBig FM is offering a sneak peek into the life of renowned musician of the timeless era Pyarelal, as he goes on air in an exclusive interview with 92.7 Big FM's most popular radio jockey, RJ Siddharth on the morning show, unfolding the many unheard stories of his life.  The FM station is giving its listeners a special week-full of Laxmikant-Pyarelal songs from November 10 to15.

The duo which composed music for about 635 Hindi movies from 1963 to 1998 for extremely notable directors contributed greatly to Indian cinema. Synonymous with the station's brand proposition of 'Hit Thhe Hit Rahenge', which symbolises its famous retro theme, 92.7 Big FM is extremely delighted to partner with Pyarelal – also the hero of the classical era of Indian music – for his next big live concert at Shanmukhananda Hall, in Mumbai, on November 14. The celebrated musician will be paying a tribute to the legendary poet and lyricist Majrooh Sultanpuri, who he interestingly had a long association starting from Rajshri Production's 'Dosti' in 1964. This movie was considered to be a turning point in Laxmikant-Pyarelal's career as they received a Filmfare award for the film's music.

Considered as a one-of-its-kind musical concert, Pyarelal will pay tribute to his association with Majrooh saab and all the lyricists who made colossal contributions towards making the songs, and consequently the film, a megahit. Another specialty about this concert is that after a very long time. The concert will be aired on Big FM.

Commenting on his association with 92.7 Big FM, Pyarelal, said “I feel overwhelmed that Big FM has invited me on board to share my life stories, my favourite music, and about my upcoming concert on November 14. The fact that listeners still appreciate the golden era music is extremely touching and encourages artistes like us to do even better. As much as all the music lovers across have loved our melody so far, I hope the show that we are doing in tribute to Majrooh saab is much appreciated by them too.”

Ashwin Padmanabhan, National Business Head, 92.7 Big FM, said, “We are extremely delighted, and it is an absolute honour to have Pyarelal ji as our guest. He is synonymous with our brand proposition, considering the fact that we play a lot of retro content on our station. The duo has composed a lot of Indian classical music as well as western music, and they were also popular for their folk tunes and semi-classical music. We hope that our listeners will appreciate and enjoy the variety of music that we are providing them, and appreciate our innovative programming.”
