Chitralekha Group is all set to enthrall the audiences of Saurashtra and Kutch with the mellifluous voice of Shreya Ghoshal on October 19 at Rajkot. Two days prior to the auspicious Dhanteras festival, Shreya will captivate the people of Rajkot with songs like 'Sun Raha Hai Na Tu', 'Raabta, Bairi Piya', 'Barso Re Megha' and many other superhit numbers from her huge repertoire.

Conceptualised and executed by Chitralekha, the event is the first in a series of large-scale concerts that will be organised by the publishing house in various markets of Gujarat. The affluent and prosperous markets of Saurashtra and Kutch, hosting cities like Rajkot, Jamnagar, Bhavnagar, Porbandar, Morbi, Bhuj, Amreli, amongst others, have never witnessed a ticketed event of this scale before. The event is sponsored by Sonam Quartz, Jungle Formula, Everest Masala and Club O7, with ETV Gujarati, 92.7 Big FM, Star Outdoor Media as media partners. The other partners include travel partner Shakti Travels, mobility partner Honda and venue host Garden Dinner Club.

The group has left no stone unturned in promoting the event with an aggressive 360 degree campaign encompassing print, radio, TV, outdoor and social media. A contest opened last week on Chitralekha's website and Facebook page with entry passes to the concert and autographed mugs on offer as prizes.

Commenting on the event, Mitrajit Bhattacharya, President and Publisher of Chitralekha Group, said, "We have a special bond with our readers from Saurashtra, who have been loyal to us for over six decades and hence wanted to present a not-to-be-missed concert to them. Chitralekha sells a large number of copies in these markets and even has a local edition every week. We are overwhelmed by the response. I hope each and every guest who attends the event has a great time."
