WWF India, in partnership with Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change, CBSE and Discovery Kids, is presenting Asia's largest wildlife quiz – the 7th edition of the Wild Wisdom Quiz. The quiz is set to cover the entire country in a month (August-September), followed by a grand finale on October 1, 2014, in Delhi.

The only national-level quiz of India is estimated to reach out to more than 35 lakh students directly. Thirty cities are set to host the quiz and more than 1 lakh students from 550 schools are expected to be registered for the mega event. The quiz is open to students from class 3 to 12, in three respective categories - Junior School (Classes 3-5), Intermediate School (Classes 6-8) and Senior School (Classes 9-12). This prized experience is based on the theme of 'Forest Biodiversity', and aims to highlight the value of our forests and garner support to curb deforestation and biodiversity loss. The finale of the quiz will be aired on Discovery Kids.

This will give the audience an exposure to forest biodiversity helping them to learn more. We always aim to provide kids a better learning experience through our shows, and with this partnership, we are ensuring that we provide an experience with a greater impact.”

The spokesperson from WWF said, “Discovery Kids falls in a unique category which provides kids great fun along with diverse learning experiences and we are really very pleased with this association. The national-level quiz is a mega event for us and with Discovery Kids it will reach out to the masses with greater impact. We hope that this partnership will create awareness amongst the young generation and contribute in our endeavour to save the environment in a better way.”

The top three teams of the quiz will win a trip to Adventure Nation's Camp Tusker, near Rajaji National Park. The top scoring students in the Intermediate level and Senior School level quizzes will win Ti Cycles. The winners of the city level quiz will receive Amkette headphones as prizes.
