Famous Innovations ramps up senior team

The agency has taken on board Ajmal Mohammad as ECD, Tanvi Joshi as Senior Planner and Madhavi Ranganath as Associate Account Director

Mumbai-based creative agency Famous Innovations has roped in senior-level talent in all departments. Ajmal Mohammad joins as Executive Creative Director from BBH. He will be reporting to Founder and CCO, Raj Kamble.

Kamble said, “We have recently added lots of talent in the creative department, particularly art, and Ajmal comes with the right temperament to lead this team. He has proven his mettle as a great creative time and over, but now as part of the top management he will also play a key role in building the agency.”

In his 15 years in advertising, Mohammad has worked at Ogilvy, Grey, DDB and Leo Burnett. His work has earned top honours at Cannes, One Show, etc.

Also joining the Famous team as Senior Planner is Tanvi Joshi, who moves from JWT with extensive experience on big brands like Rin, Lux and Sunsilk. Arun Raman, Head of Strategy at Famous Innovations, said, "Tanvi is young and she is bright. She has a sharp mind that cuts straight into the heart of the consumer problems facing brands. For us at Famous, having a solid strategic platform for everything we do is critical and we hope that Tanvi will be able to provide this critical springboard – for our clients and our creative."

Last, but certainly not the least, is Madhavi Ranganath, joining as Associate Account Director. She will be reporting to Arjun Sen, who joined Famous as Head of Business in May. Speaking of Madhavi, Sen said, “I was impressed with Madhavi from set-go. Always full of energy, she comes with a kind of dynamism that is required in an agency on the rise. I believe that client servicing can really make or break an agency, so we have been very careful about our choices.”

Famous Innovations recently released the 25^th hour TVC for Titan's Xylys. Its client roster also includes Lakme, Piramal, Miller High Life, Mahindra, Vadilal Ice-Creams, Forbes India, Raymond, Movies Now, Romedy Now, to name some.
