Following the launch of its Canvas Doodle 3 phablet, Micromax, India's second largest smartphone player, has unveiled a TVC to promote its new product, the Canvas Doodle 3. The campaign, conceptualised by Lowe Lintas, takes us to the colourful world of doodles and revolves around the 'you can' doodle ideology.

The TVC starts with an animated pig sitting on one end of a see-saw and a hippopotamus joining him at the other end. Owing to the weight of the hippo, the pig flies high and lands himself on a rainbow. From there he slides down to his house and finds his parents staring out of the window as they enjoy the snowfall. He then leaves his home and lands at a place where he spins like a cool DJ. The TVC ends with a shot, revealing that everything is being doodled on the device and the voiceover says, 'Now doodle without limits'. The essence of this campaign is that the new phone encourages users to think wild and out of the box.

Shubhodip Pal, CMO, Micromax, said, “At Micromax, we have always aimed to offer something new and different with every product launch, and affordable innovation is our core DNA. The Canvas Doodle 3 further reinforces our commitment to empower our consumers with a larger screen to help them express their imagination in a more creative way like never before.”

Commenting on the campaign, Shriram Iyer, Lowe Lintas, said, ''Canvas Doodle 3 is a phone for the creative and imaginative type. The advertising hints at the possibilities that a phone like this unlocks for the doodler. The bigger screen makes it more doodle friendly. And the film represents the imagination of the user.”

Shubhodip further said, “The TVC echoes the same proposition representing the vivid imagination of an individual. The launch is supported by a clutter-breaking 360 degree advertising campaign across TV, print, online, mobile & retail visibility drive.”

The Micromax Canvas Doodle 3 smartphone is available in pristine white and blazing blue colours and comes with a magnetic flip cover.
