Neeraj Sanan, who recently put in his papers at Media Content and Communication Services (MCCS), is all set to join Focus TV Group as CEO. At MCCS, Sanan spent close to six years and was Chief Marketing Officer handling three news channels – ABP News, ABP Majha and ABP Ananda. The development was confirmed by highly placed sources.

Sanan entered the media industry around seven years ago after spending 12 years in FMCG companies including Dabur, Joyco, Asian Paints and ICI Paints. He spent a year with Network18 as Marketing Head for Web18 before moving to MCCS in 2008.

Focus TV Group runs five news and current affairs channels (Focus Haryana, NETV, NE Bangla, Hamar, Focus Odisha), one lifestyle and entertainment channel (NEHIFI) and two radio stations across North-east India. According to information available in the public domain, the group plans to launch English and Hindi national news channels.
