Adfest 2014 Day 2: India secures 64 shortlists led by McCann with 35

Indian agencies have secured 64 shortlists on the second day of Adfest 2014 across the categories including Film, Outdoor, Design, Direct, Print Craft and Lotus Roots. Among the 64 finalists, maximum 26 shortlists are for Print Craft Lotus followed by 19 finalists for Outdoor Lotus, 11 for Design, five for Lotus Roots, two for Direct Lotus and one for Film Lotus.

McCann Worldwide India has alone secured 35 shortlists for its six campaigns. Taproot has secured 12 shortlists for its 'Farmer Suicide' campaign for The Times of India. Grey Worldwide India's campaign for Duracell has secured nine shortlists in different categories. TBWA\India's work for Adidas was shortlisted in two categories while Draftfcb+Ulka and BBDO India had one shortlist each.

(Yesterday, on Day 1, Indian agencies had secured 16 shortlists, of which eight wee for Press Lotus, followed by five shortlists for Film Craft Lotus, two for Media Lotus and one for Radio Lotus. Among agencies, Grey Worldwide India bagged the most shortlists at six for its work for Duracell. McCann India had three shortlists – two for its campaign for Audiobooks and one for its campaign for Star Aids Awareness. JWT India and Creativeland Asia secured two shortlists each while BBDO India, Linen and Unimagic Studios secured one shortlist each.)
