Week 41 of TAM 2013, which turned out to be a nightmare for Hindi general entertainment channels due to Navratri celebrations in the evenings and a T20 cricket match between India and Australia, saw drop in viewership of every show in the top 10 weekday shows. However, on the basis of TVT data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 41 (October 06 – October 12), Zee TV and Star Plus retained four slots each while Colors and SAB TV held one position each.

In weekend programming, Comedy Night with Kapil on Colors returned to the top position followed by CID and KBC, both on Sony.

Among new show launches, 'Desh Ki Beti Nandini' on Sony launched at 0.9 TVM and averaged at 1.0 TVM over the week. Life OK's 'The Bachelorette India' launched at 2.5 TVM and averaged at 1.9 TVM over the week.

Bigg Boss 7 on Colors rated 4,407 TVTs in Week 41 against 4,835 TVTs in Week 40.

Weekday toppers (all data in TVT in 000's)

Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus retained the No. 1 position with 9,242 TVT this week (last week 9,911).

Jodha Akbar on Zee TV held the No. 2 position despite a drop in viewership. The show registered 8,777 TVT in week 41 (last week 9,337).

SAB's Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashma witnessed a sharp decline in its viewership but retained the No. 3 position. The show recorded an average TVT of 6,945 against last week's 8,480.

Colors' Balika Vadhu climbed three positions to No. 4, recording 6,623 TVT (last week 6,759).

Star Plus' Saathiya also rose one position to No. 5 with an average TVT of 6,314 (last week 7,237).

Pyaar Ka Dard Hai on Star Plus slipped two positions to No. 6 recording an average TVT of 6,250 (last week 7,708).

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus also slipped two positions to No. 7. The show averaged at 6,031 TVT. The show had an average TVT of 7,614 last week.

Qubool Hai on Zee TV climbed one position to No. 8 with an average TVT of 5,676 (last week 6,003).

Zee TV's Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se was at No. 9 with an average TVT of 5,103 this week (last week 5,696).

Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke was the fourth show from Zee TV in the top 10 list. It averaged at 5,084 (last week 6,490).

Weekend toppers

Comedy Night with Kapil on Colors returned to the top among weekend shows, garnering 6,518 TVT (last week 6,626).

Sony's crime series, CID, fetched 5,300 TVT against last week's 7,048 TVT.

KBC on Sony garnered an average of 3,959 TVT this week (last week 3,911).

Life OK's Shapath recorded 3,470 TVTs against last week's 3,637.

Sony's other crime show, Crime Patrol, averaged at 3,423 TVT this week against last week's 3,882 TVT.

Zee TV's dance reality show, Dance Ka Tashan, fetched an average of 3,114 TVT (last week 3,789).

Sony's crime show, Adalat, recorded 2,845 TVT (last week 2,832).

Colors' '24' rated 2.6 TVT in the show's second week.

Fear Files on Zee TV recorded an average TVT of 2,425 (last week 2,636).

Comedy Circus on Sony rated 2,379 TVTs.

Junior Masterchef on Star Plus recorded 2,080 TVT (last week 2,460).

Star Plus' crime fiction, Arjun, recorded 1,830 TVT (last week 1,995).

Life OK's other weekend show, Mahadev Putra Bal Ganesh Ke Adventures, recorded 1,655 TVTs (last week 1,532).

Buddha on Zee TV in the Sunday 11 AM slot recorded 1,085 TVT (last week 1,044).
