NewsX augments leadership team

Rahul Shivshankar and Diptosh Majumdar join as Managing Editors; Raktim Das comes on board as President

NewsX has augmented its leadership team with a number of key appointments. Rahul Shivshankar, formerly Executive Editor with Headlines Today, has joined NewsX as Managing Editor. Diptosh Majumdar, ex-National Affairs Editor with CNN-IBN, has also joined NewsX as Managing Editor.

To augment the channel's business operations, Raktim Das, who was till recently Business Head and Senior Vice-President at Zee News Limited, has joined as President.

Shivshankar has also worked with Times Now before joining Headlines Today. Majumdar moves in from DNA. Prior to DNA, he was with CNN-IBN.

Das comes with an exhaustive experience in the media space spanning newspaper, magazine and television. As part of his new mandate, he'll be responsible for brand development and exploring new avenues of revenue generation. He has earlier worked with brands like India Today and The Times of India, besides Zee News.
