At the 14th Annual General Meeting of the Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF) was held in Mumbai yesterday, and the Board of Directors meeting, Man Jit Singh, CEO, Multi Screen Media, was re-elected President for 2013-2014.

The IBF Board also elected Rahul Johri (Discovery) as Vice-President, besides the continuing Vice-Presidents, Punit Goenka of Zee Entertainment and Rajat Sharma of Independent Media.

Sunil Lulla of Times Television was elected IBF Treasurer.

On being reappointed IBF President, Singh said, “I am delighted that my industry colleagues continue to have faith in me to guide the IBF. The last year has been very eventful for our industry with digitization phases 1 and 2, considerable progress on a new measurement system under BARC, and a shift from TRPs to TVTs. Substantial challenges continue in the current year. We need to build on the success of content regulation, continue the process of digitisation and work collaboratively with the broader industry.”
