Based on the recent resolution between IBF, ISA and AAAI, ratings data from TAM will be available in the public domain only in TVT starting Week 30 of TAM 2013. BestMediaInfo.com will henceforth report the ratings and rankings on the basis of TVT.
As per the first TVT data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 30 (July 21 - July 27) for CS 4+, HSM markets, Star Plus stays at the top among Hindi general entertainment channels but at a kissing distance from Colors which saw a surge in its viewership this week. Backed by improved ratings for its fiction shows and sustained ratings for weekend programming, Colors strengthened its No. 2 position further. However, it was the No. 1 channel across digital platforms, No. 1 channel in primetime and on weekends.
Zee TV continued to be at No. 3 followed by Sony at No. 4, SAB at No. 5 and Life OK at No. 6. Sahara One remained at the bottom.
In Week 30, Star Plus recorded Gross TVT of 474 million with relative share of 22.0%.
Colors' Gross TVT was recorded at 456 million with relative share of 21.1%.
Zee TV was at No. 3 with Gross TVT of 341 million. The channel had relative share of 15.8%.
At No. 4, Sony recorded 316 million TVT with 14.6% of relative share.
Sony was closely followed by SAB TV at No. 5 with 300 million TVT and 13.9% relative share.
Life OK had Gross TVT of 240 million and relative share of 11.1%. The channel was at No. 6 in Week 30.
Sahara One's viewership in TVT stood at 34 million with 1.6% of relative share.
