Bang in the Middle has launched Corporate Social Responsibility as its latest service offering. The CSR services come in a variety of packages that can be tailor-made for short-term planning or longer-term support and evaluation of programmes and assistance with dissemination. The CSR initiative is headed by Dr Neeta Mishra who holds a PhD in development planning from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA.

CSR is an evolving field that has moved away from pure philanthropy towards integrating corporate social responsibility into day-to-day business practices as well as proactively engaging with the communities where companies are based through project based interventions.

The overall planning and management of CSR projects however continues to be implemented in-house by corporate professionals who lack development expertise. Bang in the Middle will provide in-house expertise for developing a CSR portfolio that meets clients' needs.

Bang in the Middle aims to assist companies in their CSR outreach by bringing the development sector into the corporate sector. The agency has put together a team of experienced development professionals to provide a host of CSR related services across the range of social sectors to make CSR outreach in line with the most upto date developmental thought and innovation towards improving and deepening the impact of CSR programmes.

“More than anything else, our idea is to employ a lateral side to traditional CSR initiatives that corporates undertake. I would think our endeavour led by Neeta Mishra is pretty much a new way of looking at CSR for Indian companies,” said Prathap Suthan, Managing Partner and CCO, Bang in the Middle.
