International footwear brand Crocs has recently appointed Nissan Joseph as General Manager for its India operations. Joseph joined the organisation last month and will be based in its Gurgaon headquarters. He will be an integral part of leading the management team at Crocs.

Before joining Crocs, Joseph led Accessory Exchange, New York office, for two years in licenses and brands, serving multi-channel retail in global markets with an emphasis in Asia and Europe. He has more than 25 years of experience in the retail and wholesale industry and has worked with brands such as New Balance and Brooks in the United States and Payless Shoes in Australia.

“We are very pleased to have Nissan on board at Crocs Asia,” said Florent Bailly, VP for Middle East, India & Africa. “As Crocs continues to expand and evolve as a global lifestyle footwear brand, we are thrilled to have Nissan leading the efforts in India. I am confident that our business in Crocs India will reach new heights under Nissan's leadership."

"It is a privilege to work for a global brand as iconic and trusted as Crocs,” said Joseph. "It is a great delight to be given this opportunity and I look forward to being a part of Crocs.”

Crocs started its India operations in mid-2007. Crocs products are currently available in more than 15 cities across India at more than 300 multi-brand outlets and 30 exclusive stores, including one kiosk and one factory outlet.
