Vidyut Patra has joined the Times Centre of Learning, The Times of India’s latest foray into the education business. Patra joins the Times Group as an AVP and would be reporting to Deepak Lamba, President, Times Centre of Learning. He would be responsible for setting up of one of the verticals under the TCL umbrella. Prior to this, Patra was Station Hhead – Mumbai at Red FM.
Commenting on the appointment, Lamba said, “Vidyut’s extensive experience across various business domains would add immense value in successfully running and managing this new venture.”
Patra said, “I am looking forward to being a part of this business which is a first for any media house in India. With the strong values and backing of the Times Group, it holds a lot of promise.”
Patra comes from a strong broadcasting background. Prior to heading Red FM Mumbai he was with Viacom18, INX Media and Star India.
