publive-imageIPL 6 has finally shown its colours in its fourth week as Sony Max has taken a leap of more than 17 per cent over the last week to become the No. 1 channel with a lead margin of 33 GRPs over Star Plus. The other IPL broadcaster, Sony Six, continues to contribute 57 GRPs to IPL's total viewership of 305 GRPs.

According to viewership data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 17 (April 21 - April 27) of TAM 2013 for the CS 4+, HSM markets, Max garnered 248 GRPs over last week's 210 GRPs. Star Plus continues to lead the GECs but Zee TV has been able to close the gap. Colors, Sony, SAB and Life OK retained their positions.

A further loss of 18 points narrowed the lead margin of Star Plus in Week 17 to 24 GRPs from Zee TV. Star Plus registered 215 GRPs this week (last week 233).

Riding on improved fiction shows, Zee TV took a jump of 22 points to reach closer to the 200-mark this week. The channel recorded 191 GRPs (last week 169).

Colors also saw improvement in its fiction shows and fetched 164 GRPs (last week 167).

Sony Entertainment Television lost 15 GRPs this week on the back of weaker performance by its fiction shows. The channel garnered 150 GRPs (last week 165).

SAB TV recorded 125 GRPs (last week 123).

Life OK was at 101 GRPs this week (last week 103).
