publive-imageEven as Week 17 of TAM 2013 witnessed jump in viewership of IPL, there was significant improvement in ratings of fiction shows on Colors and Zee TV. While Colors got four shows in the top 10 list, Zee TV had two shows in the top 5 at 2nd and 4th positions.

According to data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 17 (April 21 - April 27) of TAM 2013, Star Plus and Colors had four shows each in the top 10 weekday programming followed by Zee TV with two shows and SAB with one show.

Among weekend shows, India's Dancing Superstar on Star Plus debuted at 2.5 TVR to top the chart while the finale of Nach Baliye Shrimaan Shrimati fetched 1.8 TVR. CID on Sony was at No. 2 followed by Zee TV's India's Best Dramebaaz at No. 3.

The world television premiere of Jab Tak Hai Jaan on Sony fetched 2.4 TVR.

Weekday toppers

Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus continued to top the chart with an average of 3.7 TVR (last week 3.6).

Zee TV's Qubool Hai rose impressively to the No. 2 position from last week's No. 8. The show averaged at 3.2 TVR (last week 2.6).

Star Plus' Pyaar Ka Dard Hai slipped one position to No. 3 this week with an average TVR of 2.9 TVR this week (last week 3.2).

Zee TV's other show, Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, made it to the top 5 club fetching 2.9 TVR (last week 2.5).

SAB's Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashma climbed one position to No. 5 with an average TVR of 2.8 against last week's 2.6 TVR.

Colors' Balika Vadhu also climbed one position to No. 6 this week. The show averaged at 2.8 TVR this week (last week 2.6).

The No. 7 position was held by Colors's Madhubala. The show continued at an average TVR of 2.7 (last week 2.7).

Star Plus' show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai slipped five positions to No. 8 this week. It fetched an average rating of 2.6 TVR (last week 3.0).

Colors' Uttaran entered the top 10 club this week with an average of 2.5 TVR (last week 2.3)

Star Plus' Saathiya and Colors' Sasural Simar Ka held the No. 10 slot jointly with an average of 2.4 TVR. Last week, Saathiya had recorded 2.7 TVR while Sasural Simar Ka had recorded 2.1 TVR.

Weekend toppers

Star Plus new show India's Dancing Superstar opened at 2.5 TVR to become the No. 1 weekend show.

At No. 2, Sony's crime show CID fetched an average TVR of 2.0 (last week 2.4).

India's Best Dramebaaz on Zee TV held on to the No. 3 position with an average TVR of 1.9 (last week 1.9).

The finale of Nach Baliye Shrimaan Shrimati on Star Plus fetched 1.8 TVR against last week's 2.0 TVR.

Sony's other crime show, Crime Patrol, garnered 1.8 TVR this week (last week 1.9).

Fear Files on Zee TV recorded an average TVR of 1.4 (last week 1.5).

Comedy Circus ke Ajoobe on Sony averaged 1.2 TVR (last week 1.7).

Star Plus' crime fiction, Arjun, recorded 1.0 TVR (last week 1.0).

Adalat on Sony recorded 0.9 TVR (last week 1.0).
