Havas Worldwide has roped in Gaurav Soi and Tiraz Balaporia for its Mumbai and Bangalore offices, respectively. Soi is joining as Vice-President in Mumbai, while Balaporia is joining as Vice-President and Office Head in Bangalore. They will both report to Shavon Barua, President - West and South, Havas Worldwide.

“We have had two senior level hires in our Mumbai and Bangalore offices. Both these gents will report to me and I am delighted to have them as a part of our team.  At Havas Wordwide, we are focusing on bringing about a whole lot of new talent in our teams as our business continues to grow,” Barua.

Soi has spent 13 years in the advertising industry and has worked on a variety of brand and categories. Some of the brands he has worked on include Saffola Oil & Salt, ITC Expressions Greeting Cards, VST, BPL Mobile, Frooti, Appy Fizz, Dainik Bhaskar Group, AUDI, Suzlon Energy, Reliance Mutual Funds, Cox & Kings and Fortis Healthcare.

In the past he has worked in agencies such as Grey Worldwide (Mumbai), Ambience Publicis and Metal Communications.

Soi has also been closely associated with the Events & Activation side of the business during his stint with Line Communications.

Balaporia moves after a year and a half with Bates where he worked on brands like Tata AIA, TVS, Fiat, Ashok Lelyand, Park Avenue, etc. He returns to Havas Worldwide (earlier Euro RSCG) where he spent six and a half years as part of both Bombay and Bangalore teams. While in Euro RSCG he handled brands like HDFC Payment Cards, Emirates, Sanofi-Aventis,  Bhaskar Group, BPCL Allergan, and IBM to name a few.

With close to 13 years of work experience across multiple bands and categories he has been appointed Office Head with a mandate to take the Bangalore Office to greater heights, picking up where he left off in his previous stint.
