BestMediaInfo Bureau | Delhi | April 26, 2013

publive-imageEven though Hindi general entertainment channels are reeling under IPL, their problems have been aggravated with continued lower reach across major 1 mn+ markets on account of DAS-II implementation. However, the data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 16 (April 14 - April 20) of TAM 2013 indicates that the reach for Colors in Gujarat is back to 13-week average levels indicating that the switch-off issue in Gujarat has been resolved. This has resulted in marginal improvement in the ratings of the channel.

Star Plus continues to have five shows among the top 10 weekday shows as well as all the top 3 shows. Colors and Zee TV held two positions each while SAB's Tarak Mehta continued to be in the top 10 club.

Among weekend shows, CID on Sony topped the chart pushing Star Plus' Nach Baliye Shrimaan Shrimati at No. 2 followed by Zee TV's India's Best Dramebaaz at No. 3 position.
