Adfest introduces People's Choice Award

Adfest is introducing an exciting new award, the People's Choice, which will make its debut at Adfest 2013, which runs from March 17-19, 2013 in Pattaya, Thailand.

“We are inviting delegates at Adfest 2013 to experience what it feels like to be a Jury casting a vote,” said Jimmy Lam, President of Adfest. “By inviting our delegates to vote for the People's Choice, we are celebrating the powerful voice of consumers in today's communications landscape.”

Delegates at Adfest 2013 will enjoy a showcase of work in 16 categories for Film Lotus, Radio Lotus, Interactive Lotus (formerly called Cyber Lotus), Direct Lotus, Press Lotus, Outdoor Lotus, Direct Lotus, Promo Lotus, Design Lotus, Print Craft Lotus, Film Craft Lotus, New Director Lotus, Integrated Lotus (formerly called 360 Lotus), INNOVA Lotus, and Lotus Roots. Adfest is also introducing two new categories in 2013: Effective Lotus, and Mobile Lotus.

Adfest is showcasing all entries in a screening room and expansive exhibition gallery, which creates the perfect opportunity for delegates to pick their favorites.

Each delegate may only vote once, but voting is easy: delegates must simply search for their favourite entry in the People's Choice computer kiosk located in front of the Conference Hall. After entering their delegate details, they can submit their vote.

Voting starts on Day 2 of the festival, March 18, and the deadline to submit votes is 14:30 on Day 3, March 19.

Adfest's first People's Choice will be announced at the award presentation on March 19, with delegates voting for the winning entry in a lucky draw for the chance to win a free pass to Adfest 2014.
