publive-imageBoxTV has announced content agreements with Sony Pictures Television and Disney UTV to offer premium titles on its video streaming service. BoxTV is a premium video service that offers an outstanding bouquet of entertainment including blockbuster movies, TV shows, short films, documentaries and much more which users can watch on a regular web browser or through a device of their choice. BoxTV has developed an India-centric media experience which includes unique features such as bandwidth meters, dynamic streaming and video chapters along with an unparalleled metadata and search.

Launching for public access, BoxTV offers the widest content offering of any existing Indian service with more than 17,000 hours of content including blockbuster films such as Spider-Man, Pirates of the Caribbean, Men In Black, Shaw Brothers, Prince of Persia, The Sixth Sense, Resident Evil, and more than 5,000 hours of TV shows such as Lost, Grey's Anatomy, Hannah Montana, Desperate Housewives and Scrubs. It also offers a large selection of regional content in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati, Malayalam, Bhojpuri and Bengali.

BoxTV has also announced partnerships with UTV Motion Pictures, Shemaroo Entertainment, Rajshri Entertainment and Everymedia Technologies for Bollywood and regional content in addition to their agreements with major international studios like Sony Pictures Television, Disney UTV and Celestial Entertainment for premium Hollywood content.
