CNN-IBN announces India Positive Awards

The first edition of awards to salute those Indians who are spreading the spirit of positivity through their selfless acts

Amidst all the scams and disasters of the daily news, so much that is positive and good about our country gets buried by the media. Through 'India Positive', a unique show, we at CNN-IBN made a conscious effort to report on positive news, find the change agents, the idealists, those who with small acts of courage and optimism are helping India become a better place every day. To recognize the inspirational stories of everyday Indians who are doing their bit to bring about a positive change, CNN-IBN, in partnership with Jaypee Group, announces the first edition of India Positive Awards. The awards are an extension of the successful 'India Positive' series aired on CNN-IBN.

India positive Awards in its first edition salutes those Indians who are spreading the spirit of positivity through their selfless acts. This initiative is meant to honor and showcase all such inspirational people from varied parts of the country. The award adheres to a process of selection which has the CNN-IBN Editorial Board at its core.

The winners of this edition will be profiled over a series of special episodes every Saturday @ 7:30PM starting from September 22nd to October 13th, only on CNN-IBN.
