publive-imageTaproot India has been awarded the creative mandate for Set Wet from the house of Marico Limited. Marico has appointed Taproot as its creative AOR without any pitch process.

The agency will handle all the creative needs of all the male grooming products under the brand Set Wet.

Speaking on the development, Sameer Satpathy, EVP & Head of Marketing-Consumer Products Business, Marico Limited, said, “Taproot's understanding and intuitive connect with the youth segment combined with their creative excellence will be a great asset to Set Wet. They are one of the most exciting creative shops in the industry today and we believe they will be a fitting partner for the brand. We would like to welcome Taproot to become a part of the Marico roster”.

It may be recalled that Marico, one of India's leading consumer products and services groups in the beauty and wellness space, has acquired Set Wet, Livon, Zatak and certain other personal care brands currently owned by Reckitt Benckiser (RB). Reckitt had itself acquired these brands from Paras Pharmaceuticals in April 2011.
