publive-imageStar Plus is back with its quota of five weekday shows in the top 10 chart in Week 29 (July 15 – July 21), according to viewership data sourced from TAM subscribers. Colors has retained three spots while Zee TV is left with one show after Punarvivah failed to find a place in the top 10 list. Sony's strategy of giving a five-year leap to its flagship fiction, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, has been well received by viewers. The show has jumped to No. 2 position this week.

Among weekend programming, Zee TV's DID Little Master topped the chart this week but its horror show, Fear Files, could not hold eyeballs. Sony's crime shows, CID and Crime Patrol, have registered growth. Colors' celebrity dance reality show, Jhalak Dikkhla Ja, has improved its ratings.

Weekday shows

Star Plus' Diya Aur Baati Hum tops the chart with an average rating of 5.8 TVR in Week 29 of TAM 2012 (last week 5.9).

After entering the top 5 club last week, Sony's Bade Achche Lagte Hain has taken a big leap again and become the second most watched show this week. The show has fetched an average of 4.2 TVR (last week 3.7).

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus has retained the 3rd position. The show has recorded an average rating of 3.9 TVR (last week 3.8).

Colors' Balika Vadhu has slipped two positions to No. 4 this week with 3.8 TVR (last week 4.3).

Colors' other fiction in top 5 list this week is Sasural Simar Ka which has climbed five positions this week to No. 5. The show has fetched an average TVR of 3.1 (last week 2.9).

Saathiya on Star Plus has slipped one position to No. 6 this week. The show has averaged at 2.9 TVR (last week 3.2).

At No. 7, Colors' Uttaran has garnered an average TVR of 2.8 (last week 3.2).

Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta remains at No. 8. The show has fetched an average TVR of 2.7 (last week 3.0).

Star Plus' Is Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon has entered the top 10 club this week at No. 9. The show has averaged at 2.6 TVR.

Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai on Star Plus has slipped three positions to come in at No. 10 this week with an average of 2.5 TVR (last week 3.1).

Weekend toppers

Zee TV's DID Little Masters remained the weekend chart topper in Week 29 while its horror show, Fear Files, has not been able to hold eyeballs. Sony's crime shows CID and Crime Patrol have shown improvement in ratings. Colors' celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikkhla Ja has also witnessed a surge in ratings this week.

Zee TV's DID Little Masters topped the weekend programming in Week 29 with 4.1 TVR (last week 4.6).

Sony's CID has climbed one position at No. 2 this week. It recorded an average TVR of 3.9 TVR (last week 3.8).

CID is followed by Sony's other crime show, Crime Patrol, which has fetched 3.8 TVR this week (last week 3.4).

Zee TV's Fear Files has averaged at 2.6 TVR this week (last week 4.0).

The simulcast ratings of the original episode of Satyamev Jayate aired on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at 11 AM across nine channels (Star Plus, Star Pravah, Star Jalsha, Star World, Star Utsav, Star Vijay, Asianet, ETV Telegu and Doordarshan) has fetched an average TVR of 2.8 (last week 2.7).

The ratings of Colors' Jhalak Dikhhla Ja have improved. The show has recorded an average TVR of 2.7 (last week 2.5).

Indian Idol on Sony has garnered an average TVR of 2.2 TVR this week (last week 2.3).
